  I thought this skirt was a heavy cotton drill type fabric so was a bit disappointed to find it was like a cotton lawn. I do not like the exterior zip either. The zip is too chunky for the lightweight fabric. I returned this for a refund.

  I was put off by the zip looking so garish on the photos, especially the one with the model. However, when I received the skirt, it didn't look that bad at all, in fact it wasn't that obvious. I did have to send it back though because the size 16 was rather tight on the waist. Fortunately, a very helpful assistant from customer services ( I can't remember her name) sent me the last size 18.

  I usual fit a size 14 or 42 EU but here the skirt was a bit tight even though I liked the material a lot.

  This skirt pairs beautifully with the matching top. It's stylish and feminine, without being fussy. I took off a star for two reasons. First, IMO, the material is too light-weight for a skirt. I'll be wearing a slip, to avoid the skirt clinging to my legs when I stand after sitting for a while in hot weather. Second, I incurred a steep tailoring charge to replace the garish zipper with something more suitable. But, these two negatives are outweighed by the beauty and simplicity of this outfit!
