ADVICE TO MY TEENAGE SELF
We asked our Facebook friends what advice they’d give their former selves.

Some absolute gems here, thank you friends for sharing #thetalllove. Oh, if only we could travel back in time…
Stand straight, shoulders back, and walk with grace...
- Paula Spedden
You can be or do anything that you want to. If you want to wear high heels to your graduation and prom, do it! You are a beautiful tall girl!
- Karol-Ann Kechnie Tourigny
Always wear nice shoes. When people see how tall you are they're going to look at your feet to see if you're wearing heels.
- Karen Alger
You'll have days when you love your height and days when you hate it. You can't change it so embrace it. There will always be someone who feels the need to stare, or comment, or whisper behind your back. Ignore them and remember that everyone is different in different ways and there will always be others who feel the need to be rude. Stand tall and don't let the haters bring you down.
- Christine Thorpe Parent
Don't worry about height when it comes to dating. What matters is inside not the packaging. Trying to only date tall people seriously limits your dating pool and for fairly shallow reasons.
- Heather McFayden
You were born to reach greater heights so just remember: why fit in when you were born to stand out?
- Kristin Oppelaar Carde
Always wear whatever you want, if it makes you feel good then it's the right outfit!
- Lidia Grbovac
You will never be able to hide, so you might as well be a leader.
- Jamila Smith Merritt
