The tweed tunic, true transitional hero. Think four seasons styling: in January add a gilet, in April layer with jersey, in July bare those arms and in September, a cotton shirt’s got you covered. This tweedy multi-tasker taps into the textural trend while fitting the tall frame beautifully. We took it to the streets of London and LA to see how top fashion influencers are wearing it.
HEIGHTS AND HEELS | 6’1” | LA
The first thing to catch my eye was the color palette and texture, the length was the icing on the cake. Most tunics are designed to be free flowing but that’s not really my style. Instead, I prefer tailored options because they enhance my tall frame. By adding a belt, it instantly provided me with the shape I wanted.
Rather than typical black skinny jeans I opted for white ones, because it allows the detailing of the tunic to stand out. Plus, white jeans make this outfit way more fun and fabulous. It’s perfect for running around LA during the day and I love the fact that by just slipping on a heels, this tunic can easily be styled for a girls night out.
Never underestimate the power a simple pair of heels has on an outfit.

Generally, I try to stay away from longline/heavy tunics as I feel they swamp my frame and are sometimes unflattering. But the shape of this is gorgeous - from the roll neck to the side splits, it falls beautifully and yet it’s so comfy to wear! It’s also surprisingly warm despite being sleeveless. It’s perfect for layering whilst we’re still in the winter months, but I can’t wait to style it without sleeves when the spring sunshine appears.
I’m absolutely in love with this tunic!
