Why bright colours belong in every tall girl’s wardrobe

A wonderful thing happens when tall women embrace colour…

While shooting our Style Has No Rules campaign there was a common theme that we heard among our customers:

"Around 80% of my wardrobe is black. I rotate the same black skinny jeans that I have three pairs of." Katie, 6’2”

"I literally live in black leggings, T-shirt and hoodie, usually khaki. I’ve ruled out bright colours." Pavan, 6’3”

Our ladies admitted they steered clear of colours. Yet when our little stylists gave them a one-of-a-kind makeover, much to their surprise, colour looked AMAZING on them!

After this experience, I’m going to try more bright, vibrant colours. It has taken a long journey for me to get to this point. But I will wear bright colours and I’ll do it with confidence.

I look around the boardroom and there’s so much black. The two things I go for are colour and dresses. I love them, they make me feel feminine. They have a way of saying ‘I’m a tall girl. And proud of it too!'

It’s a dopamine thing. I actually feel happier when I’m wearing something pink.

I’m tall. People are going to look so I figure I’ll make it worth their while with bright colours AND heels.

I love a red lip - red is one of my favourite colours.

One day I decided that I was beautiful, and so I carried out my life as if I was a beautiful girl. I wear colours that I really like and I wear makeup that makes me feel pretty. It doesn't have anything to do with how the world perceives you. What matters is what you see.
