So, Christmas is coming and the cold weather is fast approaching even now I am practically living in my LTS dressing gown! It’s so warm it’s like getting into a giant teddy bear with its cosy hood and really long sleeves.
Do you know how great it is to find a dressing gown that’s the right length?! It actually reaches my ankles- Where it should be! It’s so funny because when I’m wearing it my little kitten keeps coming up and pawing me, like I’m her mother!
Another item you’ll see me constantly wearing through the cold months ahead is the Grace coat. It’s my absolute favourite buy, of the whole LTS catalogue; I’ve actually got four of them. My mother has one and so do my two children- God, forbid if we were ever to go out wearing them all at the same time, we’d look so ridiculous!
I just think it’s such a lovely coat, a true wardrobe staple and the shape is so flattering! Although it is all about the collar for me, it definitely makes the coat. Some faux fur can look quite cheap but this fur collar really makes the outfit special.
I’m a last minute planner I don’t know what I am going to wear until the evening of an event. I just go with what is hanging up in my wardrobe at the time. With plenty of Christmas parties to prepare for I am always in need of something glamorous to wear!
I like to jazz up an outfit with accessorises, you can take the simplest outfit and make it look fabulous just by adding a chic pair of gloves for pure fifties glamour.
I also like to inject some Christmas sparkle to my outfits with gorgeous jewellery. I love all the cuffs that are around at the moment, if you are long and tall they work really well as they are statement pieces. Big watches, brooches and a pair of chandelier earrings are also a popular choice this season they can instantly turn a day outfit into eveningwear and look great if you are tall.
I just can’t wait for the party season to come around so I can wear it all!
