Lisa's Style Diary

I can’t believe half term has come around so quickly, time is flying at the moment! I have been so busy with lots of projects and events to plan and keep me occupied.

At the beginning of November, I will be co- hosting an event at the Savoy theatre called “Future dreams” which is in aid of breast cancer. It all sounds really exciting and I’m glad I have had the opportunity to really get involved.

As far as work is concerned I’m writing a lot of shows for my production company “Libra”. I have been pitching and developing new and exciting ideas to Channel 4 and the BBC. You may be surprised to hear that they are a diverse mix of programmes, not necessarily fashion based; from kids TV to show’s aimed at young women.

I am working with TV psychologist Linda Papadopoulos. We met after doing a radio show together and just clicked, it’s so nice to write with a friend and develop an idea together.

Talking of projects, I recently went on the LTS spring photoshoot at a beautiful country estate in Herefordshire, it may sound ultra glamorous to you but it was so cold! I had a chest infection a few weeks before and we were shooting outside- I was absolutely freezing!

Clothes wise I was really impressed, I will certainly be putting my name down for getting a maxi skirt! The new season colours are also really beautiful and vibrant, which makes a change from all the black and grey we are seeing this winter. There are some fantastic investment buys for spring, I thought the wide leg trousers were great and I wore the Panama hat with virtually everything!

Every single season LTS keeps getting better and better and much more wearable. I can’t wait to start updating my spring wardrobe.

Roll on sunnier climes!

Lisa

I know this is not the place but I don't know where else to turn. I am 6ft, 35" inside leg and PREGNANT . The big problem is LTS only has 1 single item in the maternity section . I am particularly after jeans and trousers - where is your usual selection

Re: Judith's comment. Hurray, someone else has noticed the complete lack of maternity clothes available to us tall girls. I was 5months pregnant this time 2 years ago, all I wanted was a pair of jeanS that were long enough. LTS did black trousers back then, where have they gone? Thank goodness I've kept them, it does put me off doing it again. Good luck Judith, both with finding clothes to fit at this wonderful time for you, and with the new baby. I bought next size up draw string and elasticated waist bottoms, not great but it worked. Also, can you please answer why, oh why your range which congratulations is now more fashinable is so expensive compared with other shops that now carry a tall range? DP's, New Look, Next and Top Shop, all up to the minute fashion, and an awful lot cheaper, and still no TALL MATERNITY, come on guys, get in the real world. Tall girls have babies too.
